As a Workforce Australia Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in empowering people of all abilities to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and our participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions that meet individual needs and programme requirements.

The role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with job seekers, conducting regular face-to-face appointments, and providing practical support such as CV writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.

Additionally, you will proactively engage employers through labour market insights to uncover hidden job opportunities and negotiate job trials, placements, and wage subsidies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with job seekers to understand their goals, barriers, and aspirations.
  • Develop tailored Job Plans that align with individual needs and programme requirements.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face appointments to monitor progress, provide motivation, and facilitate access to upskilling opportunities.
  • Deliver practical support including CV writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Proactively engage employers through labour market insights to uncover hidden job opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willing to complete a National Police Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
