Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team for a large infrastructure project in remote areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex FRP and associated civil works, leveraging your expertise in construction methods and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering solutions, planning software, and MS Suite.

This role involves working closely with clients to advise on engineering solutions, creating work programs, and logistical management of equipment and materials.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting specifications and drafting drawings and plans for construction methods and procedures.
  • Understanding the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings to advise on engineering solutions.
  • Creating work programs for allocated work packages including large concrete pours.
  • Logistical management of equipment and materials and ensuring compliance.
  • Identifying variations in work packages and submitting for review.
  • Planning and cost control.
  • Preparing and reviewing internal ITPs, forms and checklists for client approval.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • At least 5 years postgraduate experience with large FRP infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with underground tunnelling projects is highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
