The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, we currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our project team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW. The scope of works includes the construction of complex FRP and associated civil works, working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

As The Project Engineer, You Will Be Accountable For
  • Interpreting specifications, drafting, and maintaining drawings and plans, construction methods, and procedures.
  • Comprehensively understanding the scope of work, specifications, work plans, and drawings, advising on the best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget.
  • Creating work programs for allocated work packages, including large concrete pours.
  • Logistical management of equipment and materials, ensuring compliance.
  • Identifying variations in work packages and submitting lists for review.
  • Planning and cost control.
  • Preparing and reviewing internal ITPs, forms, and checklists for client approval.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (mandatory).
  • At least 5 years of postgraduate experience working on large FRP infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with underground tunneling projects is highly regarded.
  • Experience with planning software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
