
Infrastructure Project Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of equipment, directing site crews, conducting research and reporting on project status.
The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities and a proven track record in managing complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspecting infrastructure and conducting research on site
- Directing crews or workers on site
- Conducting research and studies on site
- Managing field activities and implementing engineering designs
- Diagnosing construction or machinery problems
- Resolving malfunctions or other crises when they arise
- Overseeing repairs and technical improvements
- Installing new systems and technology
- Inspecting and testing material and machinery for safety
- Ensuring proper maintenance of onsite equipment
- Supervising and directing onsite crew
- Drafting and submitting reports
Key to success in this role is a strong understanding of technical principles, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in remote challenging areas with extreme cold temperatures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- White Card
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role – preferred
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects or other suitable projects works
- Experience in technical aspects of site projects, including machinery and equipment
- Experience in civil and structural technical engineering
- Experience in interpreting technical schedules and documentation
- Process-oriented, able to analyse complex issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different levels
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets and prioritise tasks under pressure
- Strong initiative and proactive nature
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Competent and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word
- Ability to learn and use different software systems such as E7
