Job Summary

A Staff Specialist position is available in the department of Rheumatology, offering specialist care to patients across Northern Tasmania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient consultation services to public patients with rheumatic conditions.
  • Offer specialist advice to inpatient units as required.
  • Be involved in research and quality improvement activities.
  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Requirements
  • Holds specialist registration.
  • Is a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate on the specialist pathway or has a recognised overseas specialist qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable).
