Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Rheumatology Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our services.
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position or potentially two part-time positions (0.5 FTE), working up to 76 hours per fortnight. As a Rheumatology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with various rheumatic conditions, including arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments to diagnose and manage rheumatic diseases.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to relevant legislation and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must hold specialist registration and be registered Medical Practitioners who are International Medical Graduates on the specialist pathway or have a recognised overseas specialist qualification.
