Job Title: Veterinary Director

We are seeking an experienced ECC Veterinarian to fill a clinical leadership role within our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary care and the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care as an ECC Veterinarian across a range of shifts, prioritizing work-life balance with defined rosters.
  • Establish best practice processes for the department, driving clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate hospital vision and key department updates to promote a positive work environment and foster collaboration among team members.
  • Oversee financial performance and contribute to growth strategies, ensuring the department meets its targets.
Requirements:
  • Eligible for registration in New South Wales with a minimum 5+ years of experience working in 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospitals.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead teams and demonstrate strategic thinking to refine and grow services.
  • Formal or informal management training through Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is advantageous.
