Emergency Response Leader

Job Summary:
The Emergency Response Leader plays a pivotal role in coordinating emergency management initiatives across the organization. This involves strategic planning, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless execution of emergency response protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the design and implementation of systems thinking approaches to emergency management, ensuring proactive measures to prevent incidents and minimize their impact.
- Lead cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety, promoting a proactive approach to emergency management and minimizing risks through informed decision-making.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, providing timely updates on emergency management initiatives and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in emergency response, with a proven track record of leading successful emergency management initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with expertise in risk assessment, systems thinking, and change management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and inform evidence-based decision-making.
- Tertiary qualifications in workplace health and safety management or a related field, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.
