Emergency Department Consultant

This is a specialist role for an experienced Emergency Department consultant to provide high-quality clinical care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role:

We are seeking a senior medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine to oversee the management of our clinical floor and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, responding to critical situations and managing the clinical floor effectively.
  • Mentor and train junior staff in a multi-disciplinary setting, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless delivery of services and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent with Specialist registration in Australia.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a medical position within a hospital's emergency department or community health setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing complex situations and mentoring junior staff.
  • Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care that meets national standards and exceeds patient expectations.
