Key Role in Supporting Commercial Growth

Job Description

The Commercial Analyst will play a vital part in the company's strategic growth and commercial success by providing market insights, analysing industry data, and delivering actionable research.

This role requires a commercially-minded individual with a strong interest in the gaming and entertainment industry, analytical skills, and the ability to collate and present complex data into easy-to-understand insights.

The Commercial Analyst will directly support commercial negotiations, licensing efforts, regulatory submissions, and commercial decision-making by providing market research, customer analysis, industry benchmarking, and growth forecasting.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive research on betting markets, consumer behaviour, and industry activity across key markets.
  • Develop models and frameworks to analyse market trends and project revenue growth opportunities.
  • Support new product development and market entry initiatives through feasibility studies and market-fit analysis.
  • Review and summarise industry publications, key bulletins, analyst reports, and economic data relevant to sports betting, daily fantasy sports, and iGaming.
  • Assist in compiling evidence and research for licence applications and regulatory submissions.
  • Provide analytical support to the broader commercial team, including performance dashboards, KPI tracking, and ROI analyses.
  • Assist in review and negotiation of key commercial contracts, including reviewing supplier performance, contract renewals, service levels, and costs analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, law, data analytics, finance, and accounting or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights.
  • Strong research and data collating capabilities with demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with the online sports betting or gaming industries and their commercial frameworks.
  • Proficiency in data storage and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, Excel, PowerPoint).
