We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a High-Intensity Support Worker. In this role, you will provide personalized care to clients with complex medical and behavioral needs.

About the Role:

As a High-Intensity Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-level support services that enhance the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of each client. You will work across various home environments, providing essential support that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance
  • Domestic support such as light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support and transportation to appointments, shopping, and activities
  • Assistance with mobility aids and equipment (hoists, wheelchairs, walking frames, etc.)
  • Support for clients with complex physical or behavioral needs
  • Monitoring client wellbeing and documenting progress
  • Participating in regular staff meetings and mandatory training
  • Availability for shift work, including overnights and weekends
Requirements:
  • Current Australian Federal Police Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Own reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and client-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in disability support, particularly with high-intensity or complex care
