Position Overview

This exciting opportunity is located in Regional Queensland City. The successful candidate will be employed as a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist Anaesthetist, contributing to a well-integrated health service offering a diverse casemix including:

  • General medicine
  • Paediatrics
  • Surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • Mental health services

Supported by active emergency, anaesthetic, and intensive care departments, and affiliated with James Cook University for teaching and research.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent and be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA. Additionally, a commitment to high-quality clinical care and professional development is essential.
