We have a fantastic opportunity for a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist Anaesthetist to join a dynamic team at a major regional hospital, offering permanent full-time or part-time positions.

Position Overview- Location: Regional Queensland City
- Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time
As a key member of the anaesthetic department, you will work within a well-integrated health service offering a diverse casemix including general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and mental health services. Supported by active emergency, anaesthetic, and intensive care departments, and affiliated with James Cook University for teaching and research.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent, eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA, commitment to high-quality clinical care and professional development, and compliance with Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements.
International applicants welcome. We encourage applications from overseas-trained anaesthetists with comparable qualifications who are eligible for registration in Australia.
