The RoleWe are seeking a talented Double Bass tutor to join our passionate Strings team, commencing Week 1, Term 3, 2024. As a key member of our music department, you will be responsible for teaching within the music department and recruiting and retaining instrumental students while nurturing relationships with all music students across our campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instrumental lessons to primary and secondary aged students
- Work collaboratively within a large String Team and the wider Music Department and School
- Provide performance opportunities for Bass students
- Attend concerts, soirées, and sectionals as required
- Proven tutoring experience within a school music program
- Ability to tutor and engage primary and secondary aged students
- Knowledge of Double Bass repertoire
- Ability to prepare students for AMEB examinations or similar
- Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
