Senior Business Operations Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity to support the Navy Surface Fleet by working with the Minor Vessel Capability Life Cycle Manager team.
The Business Team Lead is responsible for managing the cross-functional Business Cross Product Team (CPT) that provides program operations, commercial, procurement, data management, risk management, scheduling, cost control, quality management, global trade, finance and administrative support services to the rest of the team.
Main responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating all CPT support service activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Fostering effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, including internal and functional teams as well as customers, such as the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG).
- Evaluating potential program risks and issues and escalating them to Program Senior Leadership.
- Chairing the monthly Risk Review Board to ensure threats and opportunities are identified, assessed and managed according to company policies and procedures.
- Supporting Continuous Improvement and Efficiency initiatives within the CPT and wider Program.
- Coordinating the collection, review and reporting of monthly Program metrics.
- Collaborating with other Program managers to maintain the Program Resource Management Plan including monthly reporting.
