**Specialist Surgery Position Available**

This position offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals to expand their skills in Upper GI and HPB surgery.

The selected candidate will be involved in the clinical management of patients, including attending operating theatre sessions and outpatient clinics. This role also includes administrative responsibilities under the supervision of the Head of Unit or Consultant.

The successful applicant will participate in between 200-300 major operative cases and engage in professional development activities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Identify opportunities for improving patient care and take proactive measures to achieve Best Care standards
  • Support employees in delivering high-quality work through active participation in performance conversations and annual performance development processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve desired outcomes for the organisation
  • Engage in relevant professional and leadership development activities

**Requirements:**

  • Hold a Primary Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Be registered with AHPRA as a medical practitioner
  • Have satisfied all criteria for full FRACS fellowship
