Senior Geologist - Resources Job Description

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Geologist - Resources. As a key member of our geology team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating one of our resources geology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the resource geology team in modelling the iconic Fimiston deposit.
  • Guide and mentor project geologists to ensure geological excellence through interpretation, modelling, and estimation.
  • Collaborate closely with growth and operational geology teams to identify growth opportunities within a world-class deposit.
  • Monitor reconciliation and model performance, and contribute significantly to all mine geology and technical functions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in geology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in resource geology, with a strong understanding of geological processes and principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
