We are seeking a proactive HR professional to join our team at one of our operations, working within an established People & Culture Team focused on underground operations.
The role involves coaching and guiding leaders in the application of Fair Work legislation, workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, employee engagement and professional development.
This opportunity will allow you to further develop your skills, engaging with stakeholders across our operations and learning within the People and Culture Team.
The position will be based residentially in Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth, with relocation support provided.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a HR generalist or Business Partner role.
- Qualifications in Human Resources (or a relevant related discipline).
- Strong employee relations knowledge and experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing performance
- Experience supporting annual HR processes and cyclical activities
- Ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and initiate improvement activities.
- Ability to partner effectively with leaders, advising and influencing to obtain a positive outcome.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
- Previous experience working in the mining industry (highly desirable but not essential)
- Confident Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint user
- A proactive attitude and openness to learning
- Commitment to working safely always
