Senior Project Manager Payroll
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the planning execution and delivery of large-scale payroll projects. The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex IT projects including payroll and human capital management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of payroll and HCM systems industry standards data governance and compliance requirements.
In addition the successful candidate will have exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills as well as the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning execution and delivery of payroll projects using agile hybrid or waterfall methodologies ensuring outcomes are on time on scope and on budget.
- Define and manage project scope goals deliverables timelines budgets risks dependencies and success criteria while maintaining governance structures such as project control boards business decision authorities and relevant working groups.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders by facilitating workshops presentations and providing regular updates and serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communications escalations and decision-making.
- Manage all aspects of execution including build unit/system test user acceptance testing implementation change activities vendor engagement financials risk management and post-go-live support.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale transformation or complex IT projects including payroll and HCM within scope time and budget constraints.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and HCM systems industry standards data governance and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders across all project phases and delivery models Agile Waterfall or Hybrid.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills including experience influencing and reporting to senior executives.
- Strong capability in managing project risks budgets dependencies vendor contracts procurement processes and change activities.
