We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Disability Support Professional to work collaboratively with our team to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting individuals with varying levels of ability.
Our team focuses on wellness-based supports, incorporating activities such as meditation, yoga, music therapy, gardening and cooking.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing active day-to-day care, support and direction to clients in both 1:1 and/or group programs;
- Supporting clients with Behaviour of Concern, in accordance with their Behaviour Support Plan;
- Liaising with supervisors about client matters and reporting incidents immediately;
- Upholding the rights of people with disabilities;
- Providing person-centred support and respecting client choice and control.
