About Us

Our mid-market corporate finance consultancy is a leading expert in the Sydney market, interacting with clients from ASX50 to SMEs. Due to growth and deal flow, we're seeking a dynamic manager for our team.

You'll oversee financial transactions for brand-name clients, ensuring smooth execution, providing strategic guidance, and mitigating risks across multiple industries.

The Role
  • Manage complex financial deals, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence to evaluate transaction viability and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Develop financial models, perform valuations, and analyse data to support decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive transaction documents, including financial statements and contracts.
  • Identify and assess potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is highly desirable.
  • CFA completion would be beneficial.
  • Proven experience in transaction services, investment banking, or corporate finance, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, due diligence, valuation techniques, and transactional processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying and resolving complex financial issues.
  • Excellent project management and organisational abilities, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation software, such as Excel and Bloomberg.
  • Solid understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to financial transactions.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
