About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our property team in Sydney, focusing on commercial buy/sell matters. This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional to leverage their expertise and contribute to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage acquisitions, disposals, and related matters for office, industrial, or retail assets.
- Draft, negotiate, and review documentation, including contracts for sale and commercial leasing documents.
- Engage with clients, agents, and financiers throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Support leasing matters, including lease preparation, compliance, and negotiation.
- Maintain regulatory compliance and oversee risk management.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to professional development initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of PQE in property law, ideally from a mid or top-tier firm, with a strong focus on transactional matters.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex property transactions independently.
- Experience supervising and mentoring a team will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional attention to detail, commercial thinking, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proactive mindset and collaborative approach to teamwork.
