Key to delivering successful programs is effective governance.

The Program Governance Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting the MCS Reporting Team, designing and implementing frameworks that promote efficient program delivery, informed decision-making, and transparent performance reporting.

Responsibilities include leading the design and embedding of governance frameworks across MCS programs, delivering accurate and timely performance reporting and dashboards, driving process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives, facilitating governance committees, managing decision/action registers, engaging stakeholders through targeted communication and collaboration, and maintaining governance calendars and documentation.

A seasoned leader with excellent administrative and reporting skills, strong leadership abilities, and capacity to work autonomously is required for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential.

This position also requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. The selected candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain such clearances.
