">- Committee Coordination: Prepare reports and support the Audit Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC).
- Governance Systems: Maintain legislation-based systems and registers critical to our governance framework.
- Expert Advice: Provide relevant governance and assurance advice as needed.
- Council Meetings: Help prepare for Council Meetings, including room bookings, catering, and minute-taking.
- Project Coordination: Work on specific projects under the guidance of the Manager Governance and Risk.
- Internal Audit Management: Assist in overseeing our internal audit program.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience: Previous exposure to governance, risk, or audit functions.
- Attention to Detail: Precise record-keeping and report preparation skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As a Governance Officer, you can expect:
- Hourly Rate: Competitive rate between $52 - $59 per hour.
- Contract Extension Opportunity
