**Job Opportunity**: Contribute to Research Excellence in Indigenous Health

The Maladjiny Research Centre is located at Edith Cowan University's Kurongkurl Katitjin campus. The research team specialises in health services, epidemiology, and evidence synthesis with a focus on Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and families.

This position will report to the Vice-Chancellor's Associate Professoriate Strategic Research Fellow. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively on high-impact research projects that improve the health, wellbeing, and development of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children and families.

The Role

You will contribute to qualitative research activities, conduct interviews, and assist in data analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting qualitative interviews and assisting in data analysis
  • Contributing to report content and dissemination of research findings
  • Undertaking informal and formal training as required
  • Providing support to the research team as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A completion of, or enrolment in, a health-related degree or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training, or professional accreditation
  • Ability to support the development and implementation of research projects under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor's Associate Professoriate Strategic Research Fellow
  • Able to plan and organise work tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Experience in working both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency using available resources while minimising resource waste and effort
