Petbarn, a leading pet specialty retailer, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant to join our team in Kedron. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and working collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have a real customer service focus, be highly motivated and proactive, and have a strong ability to communicate with customers at all levels. You will also be required to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be able to lift heavy items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of product knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets

  • Lift heavy items, such as bags of dog food

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retailer
  • Strong merchandising skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Commitment to the care and well-being of pets
