Lead Training Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Lead Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of training programs for current and future projects, focusing on Defence Mission Systems.

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of training needs linked to new capabilities, as well as the ability to foster collaborative working relationships with stakeholders. If you have a Defence background and experience in military training operations, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective training programs for Defence Mission Systems.
  • Lead a team of training professionals and coordinate the delivery of training scope.
  • Apply business acumen to pursue growth opportunities and expand Leidos' Training Services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV Training and Education (TAE).
  • At least a Diploma level qualification from an accredited institution in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Desirable: ADF Training Development Officer Course.
  • Desirable: Under or Post graduate qualifications in CBRN, engineering, training, or other related fields.
  • More than eight years' leadership experience in military training and operations.
  • Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor and leader of small teams working across the training lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with Service Level and Performance Management.
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role to develop and implement innovative solutions.

Other Information:
