Job Description

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all resources required to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services. Your key tasks will include:

  • Reviewing and interpreting maintenance tasks to determine the correct trade stream, manpower levels, and required resources.
  • Negotiating priorities with operators where aircraft ground time or other constraints impact the ability to complete the schedule maintenance.
  • Providing SME input and recommendations on the successful delivery of the maintenance plan.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying and reporting production risks.
  • Planning resources to meet work schedule commitments in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinating work packages with airline planning departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in planning and forecasting resource levels within an aircraft maintenance environment.
  • The ability to think conceptually and adapt to changes in work schedule commitments.
  • A working knowledge of Part 145 and Part 42 regulatory compliance with regard to aircraft maintenance activities.
