Are you passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences? We're seeking a skilled Senior Audio Visual Technician to join our team in Canberra, ACT.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global production powerhouse, specializing in virtual, in-person and hybrid events that connect and inspire. As a Senior AV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of audiovisual department activities, including installation, operation, and removal of AV equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients;">
  • Prepare client/production and weekly sales meetings;">
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase profitable revenue in applicable venue/s;">
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of audiovisual department activities;">
  • Administer weekly billing;">
  • Maintain effective communication with our Accounts Department, other venues, and interstate offices;">

Your Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated competency in operating audio-visual equipment;">
  • Experience with Hybrid and Virtual events;">
  • Customer-centric and excellent customer service skills;">
  • Strong lighting abilities and knowledge of GrandMA, advanced seamless switching experience, camera setup, video and data networking;">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;">
  • A high standard of personal presentation;">
  • Riggers Ticket (highly regarded).">
