As a Data Centre Operations Manager at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
About the RoleThe DCEO Chief Engineer is responsible for data centre engineering operations across multiple sites in Melbourne. This role requires maintaining influence over technical operations, fostering strong relationships with vendors, and providing senior-level guidance to less-experienced operators.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in an on-call escalation roster and manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors on-site.
- Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
- Generate change management requests and incident management tickets for events managed by DCEO.
- Collaborate with DC managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.
