Distinguished Professional in Advanced Diagnostic Medicine

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Staff Specialist in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology, participating in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Haematology Department and Hospital as required.
- Provide high-quality haematology outpatient and inpatient services;
- Ensure a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development;
- Work collaboratively with the Local Pathology Director to expand the diagnostic Haematology service and operate within NSW Health Pathology Laboratory services in accordance with their Scope of Clinical Practice.
The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia with recognised qualifications in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology.
