Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for providing quality patient care while performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.

As a Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, imaging patients, collecting and analyzing data, conducting quality control on equipment, and recording data in the departmental database.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) degree with specialization in Nuclear Medicine and be licensed with the EPA or eligible. You will also need to be registered with AHPRA for national accreditation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Ability to ensure safety by adopting and following safe work practices.
  • Sound knowledge of radiation safety and quality control/improvement.
