About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Director of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to join our dynamic team at Cotalent. As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our AI and data science practices, focusing on scaling capabilities and delivering impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Science Initiatives: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our AI and data science practices, focusing on scaling capabilities and delivering impactful solutions.
  • Forecasting & Predictive Modeling: Design, implement, and refine advanced forecasting and predictive models, with a strong emphasis on promotions, customer retention, growth, and marketing technology (Mar Tech).
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a high-performing data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate data-driven insights into business strategies and decisions.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize data insights to inform and influence key business decisions, with a focus on optimizing customer engagement and maximizing ROI on promotional activities.
  • Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI and data science, ensuring our practices remain cutting-edge and effective.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven track record in establishing and scaling AI and data science practices, with significant experience in forecasting and predictive modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in developing models related to promotions, customer retention, growth, and martech.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a data science team, with strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical Acumen: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Education: Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
