Role Summary:

This permanent position is based in Adelaide, offering flexibility to work from home. As a claims specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting workers and employers through the return-to-work journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage cases to achieve early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs.
  • Liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to progress strategies and actions.
  • Assess liability and recovery aspects relevant to legislation or policy, according to EML procedures if required.
  • Undertake ongoing reviews of entitlements, payments, and medical expenses.
  • Manage rehabilitation providers and approval of plans in accordance with guidelines.
  • Conduct health promotion activities to enhance injured workers' wellbeing and empower them to participate in treatment and recovery.
