About the Role

Elders Rural is seeking an experienced Livestock Sales Specialist to join our team in Bendigo, VIC. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will be responsible for providing expert livestock sales support and insights to our clients.

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will work closely with our clients to assess and prepare livestock for market, ensuring they obtain maximum value for their products. This is a permanent full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about effecting real change for our clients and their communities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and grow a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
  • Identify and cultivate new livestock sales opportunities
  • Develop and grow relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors
  • Provide professional onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
  • Employ tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
  • Maximise promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
About You

To succeed at Elders Rural, you will need to be passionate about livestock sales and have an active interest in safe livestock handling. You will also need to be driven by sales and success, with a strong ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients.
