About the Role

Elders is seeking an experienced Livestock Sales Specialist to join our team in Bendigo. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will be responsible for providing expert livestock sales support and insights to our clients.

As a Territory Sales Professional, you will assess and prepare livestock for market to obtain maximum value for clients. This is a permanent full-time position that offers unlimited potential for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain professional relationships with clients and grow a strong portfolio of new and existing clients.
  2. Identify and cultivate new livestock sales opportunities.
  3. Develop and grow relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors.
  4. Provide professional onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business.
  5. Employ tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together.
  6. Maximise promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate about effecting real change for both your clients and your community. You will have a passion for livestock sales and an active interest in safe livestock handling.

You will be driven by sales and success, with a strong ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients.

Auctioneering experience or a desire to become licensed is highly regarded. You will also have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
