Digital Business Transformation Consultant

Ampersand International is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to contribute to the development of high-quality services for the NSW government. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for digital product definition, design, development, implementation, and delivery. The successful candidate will have experience working as a Business Analyst in Digital Transformation projects, with strong business analysis skills and experience in detailed analysis and understanding of functional requirements and business process documentation.
Necessary Experience:
- Experience working as Business Analyst in Digital Transformation projects
- Business analysis skills and experience in detailed analysis and understanding of functional requirements and business process documentation
- Strong experience in customer experience and human centred design thinking, particularly with customer profiling and journey mapping work
- Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders, including vendors, and driving outcomes within acceptable costs and timelines
- Distilling business needs to identify fit for purpose options
- Keeping across changing technologies, business processes and industry best practices
- Managing deliverables independently against rapidly shifting priorities to respond to internal and external demands
- Extensive experience in using Atlassian tool set including JIRA, Confluence and Portfolio
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and success with meeting deadlines under pressure
- Demonstrated problem solving abilities as well as good negotiation skills and business acumen
The role will be required to work from the office 4 days a week in their Sydney CBD location. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Government sector and previous experience with software integration or application development.
