Equity Capital Markets Professional

The Equity Capital Markets group is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their Sydney office.

You will help originate, lead and execute equity capital market transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients. This will involve developing content for meetings with clients regarding their strategy and potential capital market transactions, as well as regular market updates.

You will liaise with internal and external parties on a regular basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating live equity offerings, including bookbuilds and settlement / operational flow.

You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members and reviewing the analytical work of others.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' relevant work experience within ECM, Capital Markets or related area
  • Strong interest in and understanding of equity markets
  • Excellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly organized with a solid work ethic, motivation level and strong attention to detail
  • Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people
