Regional Engagement Specialist

The Department of Justice and Community Services seeks a Regional Engagement Specialist to provide critical support in the Ballarat region.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with funded service providers, monitor their performance, and leverage their contributions to deliver high-quality services and outcomes.
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders within the department and externally, providing specialist support and advice to resolve contractual, policy, and operational issues.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in modern service delivery principles, including the development and implementation of local responses to community needs.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Record and data management skills, maintaining up-to-date, complete, and accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist support and advice to funded service providers, regional staff, and central program areas.
  • Collating and analyzing data, preparing comprehensive briefs and technical reports to inform central program areas and regions.
