Customer Support Specialist QLD/NT
Job DescriptionPhilips, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a customer-oriented engineer to join our team in Brisbane, responsible for servicing QLD/NT and Northern NSW regions. This role will specialize in our MR, Ultrasound portfolio, providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment.
Your Challenge
This is a critical customer-facing role with responsibilities of maintaining and developing robust customer relationships. You will work collaboratively with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to our customers, including corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
- Participate in the sales process, providing expert technical advice and support throughout the entire life cycle of our customer relationships.
- Manage and support technical escalations, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge through continual training and development, staying up-to-date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Be able to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours as necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering roles, preferably in the medical equipment industry.
- Hold a Restricted Electrical License.
- Hold a degree-level education or equivalent experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hold a full AU driver's license and have Australian working rights.
- Police checks will be required during the onboarding process.
