Ready to join a market leader? We're looking for a skilled Project Coordinator to support our client's construction team

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for the construction industry? We are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join their Southern Tasmanian team.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe, profitable, and timely management of commercial construction projects. You'll work closely with the Project Managers to ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and all processes run smoothly.

About the role

  • Project Management & Administration: Manage project documentation, update project progress, and assist in the management of subcontracts and variations.
  • Financial Oversight: Support cash flow management by preparing cost reports, forecasts, and processing subcontractor and supplier invoices.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Collect, submit, and distribute RFI documents, take meeting minutes, and liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure effective communication and positive relationships.
  • Safety & Quality: Contribute to creating a safe work environment, conduct EHSQ audits, and monitor the quality of work to ensure high standards are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the continuous improvement of the Project Delivery System and contribute to the team's success.

About you

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position within the commercial construction industry
  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building and Construction
  • Basic knowledge of head contracts and subcontracts
  • Experience with industry-specific software such as Procore will be highly regarded
  • The ability to interpret specifications and drawings for accuracy
