Job Description">

Business Analyst will be responsible for partnering with the National Operations Loss Team to provide actionable insights and business performance reporting for Australian Supermarkets as it relates to stock loss.

This role will involve working within the operations finance team, providing broad exposure to Supermarkets, results, insights, benefits analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, along with executive reporting across a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Deliver Performance Insights: Provide actionable analysis and commentary on departmental and category performance, including underlying loss, supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
  • Drive Performance Improvement: Offer decision support and lead key forecasting and planning processes to enhance financial and operational outcomes.
  • Optimize End-to-End Performance: Collaborate with operational and finance stakeholders to improve overall performance and decision-making.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify, implement, and lead process enhancements within the finance team and across the business, ensuring data integrity.
  • Foster Team Collaboration: Actively engage in team development, sharing improvements, and maintaining robust financial processes and controls.
  • Cultivate Strong Relationships: Build effective working relationships across various teams and embrace change to achieve individual and team goals.
