Stock Loss Analyst

  • This is a critical role within the finance team, responsible for supporting the national loss team with end-to-end visibility of store financials and processes.
  • The stock loss analyst will drive stock loss outcomes across Australian supermarkets by providing actionable insights and business performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the national operations loss team to provide best practice analysis and business performance reporting.
  • Provide insightful analysis and clear weekly commentary on a department/category and state basis.
  • Support finance teams and stakeholders with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirements and analysis assessing trends, variances, and key drivers.
  • Analyse and report on key initiatives that form part of underlying loss.

Requirements:

  • Cpa or ca qualified experience preferable with multinational fmcg or retail experience preferred.
  • Able to communicate complex financial information in a simple manner including presentation and storyboarding skills.
  • Solid organisational and time management skills including ability to navigate uncertainty, conflicting demands, and shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
