Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation.

  • This role involves working on multi-disciplinary projects with various stakeholders, reviewing technical drawings, providing construction and commissioning support, and preparing project documentation.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, as well as proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required, along with a minimum of 3-7 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • The selected candidate will lead engineering deliverables on projects and contribute to various projects across all engineering phases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work on diverse range of projects including battery minerals and plant optimisation.
  • Review and markup technical drawings and provide construction and commissioning support.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Communicate effectively with other discipline engineers, electricians and stakeholders in English (spoken and written).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design including reviewing and marking up technical drawings and providing construction and commissioning support.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation including reports, electrical and instrumentation design specifications, detailed designs and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Site experience in investigations, scoping, commissioning and contractor management.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English for effective communication with other discipline engineers, electricians and stakeholders.
