The Client Executive plays a pivotal role in assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets while providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions in collaboration with the Institutional Banking team. This role involves serving as an intermediary in trading for clients and acting as a strategic advisor to formulate investment strategies and raise capital for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the effective management of service/operational issues impacting target clients.
  • Identify clients' business needs and collaborate with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and develop action plans to address issues/deliver solutions, as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure seamless execution of client needs.
  • Ensure client participation in external surveys and incorporate survey results to enhance client relationships.
  • Lead strong governance and controls to maintain a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision.
  • Work closely with control functions, such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance, to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of ethics, expense discipline, and responsible finance practices.
  • Assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures defined by the role.
  • Maintain required registrations/licenses and obtain them within the appropriate timeframe.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
