Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for publicity, copywriting, and social media marketing.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing engaging content, working with the creative team to create innovative social media campaigns, delivering high-quality copy, and securing media coverage for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing social media content and collaborating with the creative team on photography and video projects;
- Planning, designing, and scheduling social media calendars across various platforms;
- Monitoring and managing social media communities;
- Writing short pitches for clients in the food and beverage, wellness, lifestyle, beauty, and health sectors;
- Distributing press releases and pitches to journalists and media outlets;
- Building and maintaining media lists through research and outreach;
- Executing influencer outreach and engagement strategies developed by the team;
- Assisting the team with automation workflows;
- Conducting industry research and analysis.
**Requirements:**
- At least 1 year of PR agency experience or similar experience in-house at a hospitality-centric business;
- A marketing, communications, or professional writing degree;
- Full working rights in Australia.
