We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of NDIS Clinical Nurse Consultant in our Newcastle office.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work with us in maintaining NDIS Health/Clinical policies and procedures, auditing NDIS teams against standards, and managing clinical data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing new participant intakes and coordinating complex hospitalisations and discharge planning
  • Advocating for participant needs at medical appointments and managing high-risk cases
  • Assessing health-related incidents and ensuring corrective actions
  • Providing ad-hoc clinical advice in response to clinical deterioration

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience in the Health, NDIS, Community Care or a demonstrated understanding of these sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with integrity and a high work ethic
  • Demonstrated experience in client assessment, care planning and documentation
  • Effective communication skills verbal, written and oral
  • Integrity and high work ethic with approachable and collaborative nature
  • Well organised and consistent in high quality delivery of services
  • Team focused and ability to work autonomously
  • Proven adherence to legislation, policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
