Job Overview

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will oversee the optimization of financial processes, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights and detailed financial analysis.

  • Contribute to the short, mid, and long-term planning process for the APAC region.
  • Be a key player in achieving the operational and financial objectives of the region.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to effectively manage expenditure for APAC, providing insight into key driver influences.
  • Contribute to the banner planning process to ensure expenditure builds for wages, occupancy, marketing, and other expenses.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives, including contributions to global technology projects.
  • Contribute to the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Foot Locker Accounting policies and relevant US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Support audit requirements, including SOX compliance and quarterly/year-end representation letters.
  • Contribute to the short, mid, and long-term strategic planning process for expenditure in APAC.
  • Work with functional and finance partners (operations, real estate, and marketing) to support the building of the expenditure plan.
  • Prepare forecast expenditure reports and details, ensuring APAC submissions are provided in line with global requirements.
  • Contribute to effective communication of financial results with the Global FP&A team and manage business timelines to ensure deliverables are clear.
  • Critically analyze the financial performance of the APAC business, providing insight and leading the conversation around KPI performance and highlighting risks and opportunities for forecasting/planning.
  • Partner with the marketing team to measure and deliver on targets for all key KPIs/metrics to maximize omni sales potential.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to develop accurate logistics cost budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational plans and financial targets.
  • Contribute to financial reporting and insights for monthly/quarterly operating review meetings.
  • Create/Maintain financial reporting dashboards to ensure they support effective review and decision-making.
  • Provide critical analysis to support decision-making on real estate transactions, capital investments, and ROI analysis.
