Civil Engineer Formworker

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer Formworker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing formwork for concrete structures, setting up and aligning formwork systems, and collaborating with other construction team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct formwork for concrete structures, including bridge decks, piers, abutments, and retaining walls, following engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Set up and align formwork systems securely and properly to withstand the weight of concrete during pouring.
  • Install reinforcement bars and mesh within formwork as per project requirements, ensuring proper placement and alignment.
  • Pour and finish concrete using appropriate techniques to achieve desired strength, texture, and appearance.
  • Monitor concrete curing and take measures to protect it from adverse weather conditions or other potential hazards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in civil engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in formwork construction.
  • Strong understanding of engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
