Payroll Specialist Role

The successful candidate will have a key role in delivering accurate and efficient payroll services to support our people.

This hands-on position will manage the full payroll cycle end-to-end, from interpreting time and attendance data and preparing payroll system finalisation, right through to banking, payroll clearing, and Single Touch Payroll reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Leading payroll activities including PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation, and end-of-month reconciliations.
  • Providing guidance and expertise to payroll team members and employees.
  • Supporting process improvements and payroll-related projects to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Building strong relationships across the business to deliver high-quality payroll services.

As a senior payroll specialist, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing complex payroll processes, taking ownership of end-of-month reporting and reconciliations, and mentoring payroll team members.

Contributing to system improvements, working on initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience, and driving business outcomes.
